Holographic Weapon Sights (HWS) offer true, two-eye shooting for a better targeting experience. State-of-the-art Heads-Up Display Window is constructed from three-layer shatterproof laminate glass and protected by a rugged, roll bar-style hood. Designed and tested to provide reliable performance in the most demanding environments, from –40ºF up to 150ºF. Waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof. Model XPS-2 is the shortest holographic sight yet, needing only 3/4" of rail space to mount. Uses one CR123 lithium battery (not included.) Weight: 8.8 oz. Dimensions: 3.75" x 2.4" x 2.4".

I purchased this sight system after using the 512 for years. The obvious benefit was the shorter base easily fits on a shorter rail w/ backup sights. The only draw back I have noticed is that it does not have a memory for the brightness level like the older larger, cheaper version. When you turn it on it is full bright every time.
Awesome optic though. Easy to set up and dial in. Once it is set anyone can pick it up and hit where they want regardless of experience or technique. Where you see the dot is where your hitting, +/- offset/ distance.

I've done everything from hog hunting to urban clearing with this optic and the 3x magnifier. Everything works great and it's easy to install and use. Couldn't ask for a simplier optic. Inch size groups are easy to get at 100yards.

Excellent sight. Have extensively used EOTECHs in combat ops and for target shooting without any problem.

The XPS will attach to a 1” Weaver or mil-std 1913 Picatinny rail. As long as you have a rail on S&W the XPS2 will work great. ThanksDetails:

I would have to say yes, Since my friend has it on his Benelli Super Black Eagle II. I don't know if it was more difficult to put on, but I doubt it. This is a very fine product and was meant to be extremely versatile.1 of 1
