The Extreme-XPS (EXPS) offers true two eyes open shooting, a traversely mounted lithium 123 battery (battery included), easy to adjust side buttons, and a shortened base that requires only 2-3/4" of rail space. I own several EoTech sights and the EXPS-3 is the best of the bunch; extended battery life, side buttons, compact design, built in riser. I bought this one to use on a Tavor. Co-witness with the Tavor's built in BUIS's is perfect. One of my other EXPS-3's has a second mil dot. Must say I prefer the single mil dot reticle. I makes for a cleaner sight picture. Overall with my old eyes (bifocals) I like the EoTech 65ma reticle with a single 1ma dot over single dot reticles like Aimpoint. Target acquisition is faster and easier (at least for me) with the EoTech. And if you like EoTech this is their best optic.

Exps-3 is the best optic for me to hogs hunt with. I use it on my socom 2 M1A. Very fast on running game. Hope this help on your next optic purchase.

I have both a 1dot and the 2dot. I prefer the 1dot as it makes for a cleaner sight picture. I just compensate for bullet drop in my sight picture depending on distance.

EXPS3-0 is the big circle with one dot. The EXPS3-2 is the big circle with 2 dots. The EXPS3-4 is the big circle with 4 dots.A:
The EXPS3-0 has one dot in the center of the reticle. The EXPS3-2 has two dots aligned vertically. The EXPS3-4 has four dots aligned vertically to achieve center mass accuracy at 0-300m, 400m, 500m, and 600m respectively.http://www.eotech-inc.com/products/sights/exps3
