State-of-the-art Heads-Up Display Window is built from three-layer shatterproof laminate glass and protected by a rugged, roll bar-style hood for the apex of durability. Precisely designed and rigorously tested to perform in the most demanding environments, from –40°F up to 150°F, in snow, mud, ice, or rain. Waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof. Requires two AA batteries (not included).

With its buttons on the left side rather than the back, Model 517 was designed to allow a magnifier or back up iron sight to fit snugly to the HWS body.  Features include 1X magnfication, unlimited eye relief, waterproof (submersible to 10 feet), anti-glare coating on the optical surfaces, and fogproof internal optics.
