This call breaks up the usual pattern of just blowing a mallard hen call. Separates you from the rest of the field. Better hope your neighbor ain't using it.

This call is a great finisher and seems to work well on the mid to late season call shy birds. This call is easy to use and is my main call once they are looking at the Deek's. it also seems to work well to bring um in to the Deek's if they land well outside your spread. Variety is the spice of life so mix it up and keep um guessing. Less is more

Purchased this call mainly for my dad to add more sounds to our calling. He is a "new fish" duck hunter and cant even quack yet. He could sound just like an old drake with this call right out of the box. you CANNOT replicate the sound of a mallard drake with the typical whistle call. We have also called in teal and widgeon with this call. Great all around purchase and a must have on the lanyard.
