The Duckmen do it again.
Yes this call is low priced as well as wood. Acrylic and "loud" calls can sometimes be a problem in this part of the country due to the fact that they carry to far and do not imitate the "volume" of a real hen. This call is subtle and sounds exactly like a hen mallard. If it doesn't, just "tune" it, and it will. I recommend this call to everyone, as it is an excellent call and "finishes" ducks very well.

the beards do it again!!
So I go duck hunting almost every weekend, and I have been using an old call that was too high pitched, squeaky, and was almost impossible to do a feed call on. I just purchased the classic commander and WOW. What a difference it makes. This call is so easy to blow and has an amazing sound. Plus the birch wood they make it with gives it a beautiful color. A+ Duck Commander.

I bought this call at the beginning of this duck season, and I really love this call It has two reeds. All wood construction, and it has a sound like no other. The only down fall is that if it gets wet it does not sound good at all. So I do not recommend to take it out on rainy days. Overall I recommend this call to the beginners and the pros.
