Driftmaster Rod Holder Purchased some online and at the store in Clarksville, now have 6 for my boat and will cover all the angles. Work very well May 13, 2010
Good rod holder for troling Great strenth and holds great for troling with a spinning reel and mounts easily to a aluminum jon boat October 4, 2009
Great For Trolling For Crappie Don't use this device for it's "face value" only. We have converted the bases of these into some nice trolling rigs without the expense of the driftmaster full system. We use the bases and use some all-thread and a 1/3-1/2 inch steel piece of metal and holds up great. one of our rigs holds 6 poles!!!!! and very stablke we have had up to 5 fish on at once with no problems. June 2, 2009
perfect! I bought some of these holders to catfish with live bait. I mounted them on my aluminum boat and they work great. So far I have caught flatheads up to 41 lbs so they will hold!! I like the quick and easy removal feature because I use my boat to deer hunt in the fall and winter. This allows me to get them out of the way but leave the bases for quick set up when its time to fish again. January 21, 2009

A:
Pro is a little thicker and meant for heavier duty use. I believe they recommend Pro for lines over 25lb.
