I ordered this so I can attach my Lil Duo Rod holder to it, but the top hole, on the short side, is bigger in diameter. I was a bit put off by this, but in the long run a simple fix and it will work. But I should not have to fix this at all. The hole is supposed to be 3/8ths of an ince but appears to be slightly bigger. I wont send it back due to the fact it took six days to get to me after I placed the order.

I have used DriftMaster products for a number of years. Every boat I have owned has had these rod holders installed on it. When I change boats I always keep my original rod holder and order the bases to install on my new boat. They are always in stock at Bass Pro Shops and easy to install. I would recommend them to anyone who likes to panfish.

I have six of the flat bases. Used for four years with no problems. Rounded edges would add a finished look.

Seems to be a good quality product with heavy duty scres for attachment, only downside I see is the threads for the lanter/rod holder are a bit rough and hard to start.
