Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I ordered and installed two star bases for the front of the boat where a T-Bar installation wasn't practical. I through bolted them instead of using the supplied screws. Uses a 1/4" hole. Nice and easy installation, looks good and is solid as a rock. July 6, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by versatile I have used the star base design on my previous boat a 18 1/2 ft. Nitro. It is hard to find a level spot to mount this base but the star design works better than others. I am buying a new set for my Triton. The mount allows the holder to be adjusted and is very dependable. July 5, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by It get's the job done I ordered 2 of the screw type clamps for my pontoon. The metal is very soft ( aluminum ) and porous, not the same quality as the lantern holders. I had to cut some rubber cushions to use so they would not scratch up my boat rails. Other than these items , the clamps do well. May 3, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by just what the doctor ordered the clamp-on driftmaster rod holder base is just what the doctor ordered. I own a 14ft boat with a round top rail. these clamps let me move my rod holders anywhere in the boat.you can also change the angle of your rod to the water . they hold well when big fish strike, I've caught 30 pounders with no problem.
