The Double Take Archery Nockturnal™ S Lighted Nocks feature a string-activated linear switch located deep inside the nock, so it can’t fail. Good lighted nocks
These nocks are pretty good. I love the ability to turn them off so they will last longer. They are a little tough to get them to turn off but I'd rather have that then them going on and off easily. They should have a seperate tool to help turn them off. I have to use an ice pick looking screwdriver to get them to go off.
I can't speak on durability as I havent hunted with them yet. Only shot them a few times in practice.

Best lighted nock on the market
I have used many differant types of lighted nocks over the years. I have bought a pack of 3 lumanocks before at BP and got home and 1 out of 3 worked when I shot them straight out of the package. I shot one and the nock lighted up out of the bow but just before it hit the deer it went out and I was thinking ;;; What the heck happened. BP warrented them of course>> Love BP I have been using nockturnal now for 2 years I have shot them threw a deer and it was coverd in blood, washed them off and shot another deer with the same one. They work every time. They do eventually wear out but for the money they are well worth the 25 bucks just to know where you hit the deer.

Yes, S nocks will fit Carbon Xpress arrows, but BEWARE. The last 2 packs I have pruchased have been mispackaged, leaving me with 6 X nocks and 1 GT nock both of which do NOT fit Carbon Xpress. Not to mention that not all of them work.
Yes they make one to fit all carbon arrows I shoot the Easton Flatline Surgical. and the S nock fits it. This Flatline is the best arrow I have ever shot. and ive been shooting a bow for 46 years killed many of deer and elk.
I haven't seen one that fits aluminum arrows. Why don't you come out of the dark ages and shoot a carbine arrow? the Easton Flatline Surgical is one awesome arrow. Carbine arrows never bend like aluminum do. One bad shot and throw it away. Carbine arrows are the future with a +.001 straightness and never bends.
Nockturnal-S - fits most “standard” carbon arrows such as Carbon Express, Beman ICS, Easton, PSE, Victory, Carbon Tech, Carbon Impact and most other arrows including aluminum arrows with a super-UNI bushing.
You need the Nockturnal-X - fits slim arrows with half outs or hidden inserts such as Gold Tip Kinetic, Easton Axis/FMJ, Beman MFX, Trophy Ridge, Carbon Impact HOT and Easton ACC’s with X-UNI bushing
I dont think they make one for aluminum arrows. Come out of the dark ages and buy you some carbine arrrows. I just bought the new Easton Flatline Surgical I shot Flatline DOA last year and it is one awesome arrow. The surgical is a straighter arrow that will fly better using fixed broadheads. I can shoot a fixed broadhead good why trust something like a mechanical that might or might not work. Muzzy 4 blade is the best.
