Dock Edge Solar Docklite
Not Worth the Money
I purchased 8 of these lites June of 2012 for our walkway and they worked well enough. However, just last week, May 2013, one of the lights was not coming on. I phoned the manufacturer to found out about replacement batteries but was informed that once the unit stops working they are done. I was told I could return the solar panel and they would replace it but I failed to keep my receipt. There is a 2 year warranty for these units but this one did not even last a year. For the price of these lights they are not worth the money since they are only good for 2 years.

GOT A COUPLE OF THESE LIGHTS AS A GIFT AND WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE AMOUNT OF LIGHT THEY PUT OUT, SO THEN I ORDERED ANOTHER 6 FOR MY PIER. NOW I DONT HAVE TO TURN ON ALL THE LIGHTS TO GO OUT TO IT AT NITE AND LOOKS LIKE A NICE STRAIGHT LINE OF LIGHTS. THEY CHARGE UP GREAT AND ONLY DRAWBACK WITH THEM IS THAT I TRIED INSTALLING THEM ON A SIDE SURFACE TO PUT LIGHT ON STEPS AND THEY DIDNT APPEAR TO GET ENOUGH SUNLIGHT TO CHARGE UP IN THAT ORIENTATION, BUT STILL GOOD PRODUCT.

great little lights
Got these for our dock. They work well at night guiding us into our slip. We also like the light they give off along the gangplank. Easy to sweep the bugs off them and bright enough to see where to walk and where the steps are. They burn all night even though they are in the shade half the day. They are so small, we bought 8 more for steps off our deck to the pool area at home.

Great light but bad advertisement
Was trying to match other solar dock lights I had from another source that were silver aluminum. Bass Pro's, as pictured In their catalog looked to be the same silver aluminum but what I received was grey plastic. They worked fine but were not as pictured so I returned them.
