Dock Edge™ Quick Release Dock Ladder
When I assembled the two sections of the ladder together using the predrilled holes, it was so flimsy I could not use it. I pressed the two sections together and predrilled new holes, which made the ladder much, more secure. I notified Dock Edge regarding the problem and was told they would check the location of the holes for proper fit. When I purchased the ladder, Bass Pro advertised it as being Anodized Aluminum. Not so. After notifying Bass Pro, they deleted the word Anodized from there description. Although a bit pricy for a medium weight ladder, it is more than adequate for getting in and out of the water. For me the four steep ladder made for easy access regardless of the tide. Make sure you measure your water depth to determine how many steps you will need.

We bought this one first to see what it was like. It is easily detachable which was a must for us due to ice in the winter. However it is of light weight , welded aluminum construction. We bought the tip up model for another location and it is much of much heavier construction, still aluminum, and not much more money. We are purchasing 2 more and will probably go with the tip up models for those applications. Quality is good on both.
