I put two of these on the wooden uprights on my dock that will typically contact the rub strip on my fiberglass bow rider.
They offer very good protection and yet they seem extremely durable. My only complaint would be that I wish there were longer sizes available. 24" would do a much better job when the boat gets rocking and rolling from boat wakes when the lake gets busy.
The ones that I have are 12".

I have had this product on my dock for 15 years and it has done a great job. It is time to replace and I am going back with the same product. I was amazed at the great price that Bass Pro Shop had on this item. I am delighted with the purchase.
