Even with a plethora of lures and six or seven rods rigged and ready, many top tournament pros still carry Do-It® Quick-Coat Paint Markers in their tackle box. Not only are Quick-Coat Paint Markers the answer when on-the-water, customized color changes are necessary, but these paint markers are also great for drawing key, fish-attracting details such as eyes, gill plates, dorsal lines and scales. Plus, since the Quick-Coat Markers are paint based markers, they dry quickly and do not come off in the water. Each marker includes five tips to help you get the look you want when customizing or touching up your baits: one chisel, two round, and two fine point tips. 1/3 oz.
Writes a little light
I bought this to write the date spooled and pound test line I am using on my reels. When writing on the metal it comes out too light to read. I tried shaking it a lot and pushing down hard on the tip and this made the paint come out and run down the side of the reel. The paint seems a little thin for a paint pen. I have another one by a different brand that works well. Maybe it will get better after using it more? I don't know.

Great for quick touch ups
Bought the red and the chartreuse for customizing lipless baits. Both work well if you are putting the paint on top of a light color, especially the red. Chartreuse shows up well, but I add an extra layer or two to cover the "brushstrokes." Seems to maintain its color after a full day of fishing.

Good Color but Thin Opacity
I bought the product to try to reproduce a discontinued color scheme. The convenience of the pen design would be very helpful, but the paint doesn't really carry the opacity to change a bait. Be prepared for several layers using this product. It does change the color, but it doesn't completely mask what's underneath.

i strongly suggest "spike it: dip-n-glow worm PAINT. Make sure you get PAINT not DYE. the paint is much more visible and stays on permanently from my experiences. Get the PAINT, not DYE, by SPIKE IT. My favorite thing to spice up my soft plastics.
