Well the harvest this year wasn't big enough for a mount, so I decided to try this product for a quick and easy antler display. It was great... I was very pleased with the quality and the ease of assembly was a plus.. It is truly a great looking do it yourself product.

This is the easiest mounting kit that I have ever used, antlers mounted and hung on the wall in about 5 minutes.

I found a nice set of antler shed in the woods. It's a 9 point rack with a thick mass but doesn't have the skull plate. Would it be possible to attach these separate antlers and tighten the mount enough to hold them in place?Answers
A:Â
I have never mounted individual antlers but I believe the hold down plate would secure antler sheds with out the skull cap. This is the only mounting kit that I have ever used that would most likely secure individual antlers.Top 100 Contributor

I take back what I said. Cabelas sells a shed antler adapter for $8. I'd say try that.Top 100 Contributor
A:Â
No, it must be attached to the skull. Only thing you could try is use putty to mold them together, and then put it in the mount. But definitely would not work for sheds.Answers

could Elk be used (are there larger models)Answers
A:Â
They can support a large rack and if you needed to you could purchase a longer hold down screw that would increase the size of rack that needed to be mounted.A:Â

The one I purchased was for deer. I did not see any for elk or other large game.1 of 1
