I would say this cube is definitely a good way to spruce up your usual target practice. The best way to do things is to give it a roll out in a field somewhere and then just walk along after every few shots.
I stood too close on the first few shots and thought I got ripped off because it didn't roll or anything no matter where I shot it. After I moved back to about 10 yards or so it worked great! It definitely is a little unpredictable and I love the challenge of keeping it rolling.

Product self heals well. even with 12 ga shot gun, and 44 mag. 22 rimfire and other small calibers will not roll the target just shake it. works well with 9mm and .40 S&W. Was really hoping for this to work with cheaper to shoot weapons. it is a quality product just not perfect for our wants

Rated 3 out of 5Â by JoeDee good for handguns not for rifles
They are good handgun targets. They are not good with rifles. I guess it has to do with the bullet velocity. Because I shot at it with my 10mm and it didn’t move at all. I have few shapes of this target, a bullet shaped one, a round one and this one. They all work ok with handguns. But rifles at long distance you will never know if you hit them. They do last though. I’m sure that I have shot more than 1k rounds through them and they still holding great. The reason that I'm giving 3 starts and not 4 or 5 is because it does not work well with rifles.

I took out the M4 and M1A SOCOM II to see what the cube would do. I had many hits to it, but you'd never know. Velocity is too high and go clean through, but this sucker can take a lot of hits.
The pistols where much better, just don't use hollow points. One of my genius buddies decided to do that and it was shredded. When we finally made it dance, it got dusty, but the visibility was great.
The material is a little more "plastic" than what you'd expect, very close th a dog toy called a "kong". The kong does NOT handle shots, and I owe my buddy's rotweiler a new one.
