Bought it for my little brother as a B-day present and it is kinda hard to move with a .22 especially at anyhting longer than 30 yards. Works better with larger calibers such as 9mm. seems to hold up alright but do not let the dog get a hold of it. Not pet friendly.

Good target, MUCH better than the box target. (bought both). Heals very well even with large calibers. great with 22 rimfire and small calibers. Big calibers can get it rolling a long distance quickly most likely better for 22cal. and smaller calibers.

I beleive it would work just fine but I wouldn't try it closer than 10-15 yards
