Bought this and a Beeman 1000fps pellet gun. Assembled it and put it out at 30yards. The pellets almost went through the back plate! When I hit the targets on the edge, they bent sideways from the impact. I was really disappointed, but Bass Pro allow me to return it. Do not buy this target if you have an adult airgun! It will not hold up.

If you have the right gun "fps" this pellet trap is very good.
Although many people complain about this product, don't them fool you. It can produce fun on many levels.
One of the main complaints is that the rod holding the silhouettes falls off when shot at , though true a simple remedy is a very cheap fix. clamping a very small cotter pin around the end of the rod will hold it in place. One of the features i enjoy from this product is the grove on each side of the pellet trap that allows a target "home made or not " to be held in place.

This target is fun and helps if your in a close environment, but it doesn't hold up for long. After a while the rail that the targets rest on will fall off if you hit it. BTW Do NOT shoot BB's into this they will come back most of the time.

after several shots it was easy to see that this trap was not designed for a pellet rifle of 1000 fps.
The pellets almost penetrate on the first shot and one shot at the swinging targets knocked the rod off of it's rests. Great design but lacking in stopping power and durability.
