Do-It Egg Sinker Mold
casting lead egg sinkers
I found the Do It mold perfect. I am experienced at casting bullets so this was very easy for me and i started casting perfect weights right off. Remember to smoke the cavities and the pull wire and to preheat the mold by letting it sit on top of the lead melting pot while the lead is melting. Flux frequently while pouring to make nice clean sinkers. I used old wheel weights which will work fine for an experienced caster.

Very easily used
Makes sinkers very easy. Wish they had some molds that were all one size. It is nice to make several sizes at one time but it would also be nice to make all one size when you wanted a lot of them. My neighbors and I (4 of us) went together and bought the items (pot and molds) and had an afternoon party while making the weights. All of us wanted the same size larger weight.

I've used a do-it jig head mold for years and had no issues. Egg mold looks better made than last purchase over 15 years ago. Very satisfied with the quality and price. You'll save bunches of money in the long run. Don't tell your fishing buddies of your new purchase, you'll run out of lead.
