Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by sinker mold we have made several sinker weights usiing this mold. We have several friends who have purchased weights of this size at the store. We have already gotten our money back just by making our own weights as apposed to buying them in the stores. Thank you May 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Like it Performs as expected. If using the bottom pour pot, the mold needs to be hot for larger weights. Best used with a laddle December 20, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by very good quality product A great product, I recommend everyone to buy it, material is excellent... September 2, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by WORKS WELL THE MOLD WORKS FINE AND IS QUITE FUN TO USE ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT. BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS THAT ARE INCLUDED WITH THE MOLDS. ALSO BE SURE YOU USE SOFT RATHER THAN HARD LEAD FOR BEST RESULTS. IF YOU USE ALOT OF SINKERS, THESE MOLDS ARE WELL WORTH THE MONEY! July 5, 2010

A:
Yes but the easiest is a fish cooker and cast iron pot to melt lead if you plan on making a large number of weights. If you are just making a few you can get a smelting pot from bass pro that is electric but doesnt hold as much lead

NO, You can get lead from auto shops but you have to rremeber that the lead used there is mixed with other metles. You just have to take your time and keep you lead nice and hot.

You will need a melting pot and gloves and some eye protection..and i reccomend a resperator...And on the melting pot if it is not a bottom pour you will need a laddle.and a propane torch to heat up your molds is a must...Dont put any ting that is cold in contact with lead!!!!!!!!!!
