not worth it its a cheap thrower it can help you knoch off some rust on your shooting skills but your not going to get 50 plus yard shots going straight out if you tighten the spring up too much it will brake the clays February 10, 2009
Clay fun Just got into the clay shooting. This was fun. Got my brothers into the sport only to find out one brother's wife was a clay shooting pro. Not a bad set up if you are new to the sport. give it a try. February 17, 2011
Terrible got it for christma. won't throw 2 clay or more. they WILL break. when i pull the string, it dosen't reslease them any more. dosen't stay in the gorund either. BAD BUY! December 30, 2011
Solid purchase A good investment of $30. Works great for before/after work shooting. Obviously not as good as the high dollar throwers, but provides an afternoon of quality shooting. April 3, 2008

Answer this Question

Is your boyfriend a serious trap shooter? I ask simply because for a recreational shooter (ie: a couple saturdays a month for a few hours) this thrower would be ok. but if he is a serious trap shooter he wont get the performance he is lookig for out of this particular thrower. But then again, its not designed for that anyway. Its a budget thrower. But for a novice, casual or just starting out shooter this would be ok. Its a decent price for what you get.
