Diamond Sub-Atomic Youth Build-a-Bow Recurve Bow Package 5 5 1 1
Diamond Sub-Atomic Youth Recurve This is a great little youth bow for anyone wanting their child to start out being a Archer. The only thing you need to add is a three finger glove, quiver, arm guard and target block. Had my son ( 8 years old ) out in the back yard after picking it up and giving him a basic block of instruction on shooting form and how to aim with a recurve. He was hitting the target in no time and the bow was set to a easy 15# draw weight. I would recommend this to anybody wanting a quality youth bow made in USA. April 20, 2014

I know that typically sights are not used for a recurve bow, but this is for my 7 year old daughter, and that might make it easier for her to actually see where she is aiming.

Hi, thank you for your inquiry. This bow may be suitable for a 16 year old. It will depend on their draw weight. It may be too light or too hard to pull back. For Beginner Recurve Bows age, 14 to 17 use a 12 - 16 pounds draw weight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxOI-V6btWs Thanks
