Delivering an air-scorching 343 feet per second and a thunderous 91.45 foot pounds of kinetic energy, the Dead Eye is the fastest and most powerful bow yet from the Diamond Archery! The Throttle Cam optimizes single-cam technology by stripping away everything that’s not needed, and the 7-layer laminated limbs store incredible power. The twin-machined center-lock limb pocket system eliminates all play between limb and riser, allowing you to place arrows with pinpoint accuracy. The fully machined riser is lightweight and forgiving, and the rotating draw length module makes no-press adjustments easy. FLX Guard™ flexible cable guard virtually eliminates innate riser torque, and the integral Carbon Rod String Stop makes your shot quieter than ever. Brace Height: 6-1/8". Weight: 3.95 lbs.

Throttle Cam TechPutting the bearing assembly on the limb tip allows true centered rotation and zero cam creep for unmatched speed and slick efficiency!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clearance i bought this bow as an upgrade from and older Bow (PSE) right away i lived the draw with the solid wall i liked the no creep and the fast flat trajectory but after i shot about 12 doezen times i noticed my Blazers fletching starting to look like bacon on the edges and zipping in flight and it felt like they were hitting my QAD Ultra HD Dropaway rest. but after careful examination it turned out they were hitting the FLX cable guide i changed to 3 inch fuzion vanes for the lower profile and its a dream to shoot. i would not trade this bow for anything i like it that well. and i would recommend this bow to anyone with the information about the clearance issue that is the only reason i gave it 4 stars. Rated 5 out of 5 by What a bow Fast, quiet and a dream to shoot. I dropped the lbs down to 65 while I got use to the cam and zero creep. Has one of the best walls of any bow I tested. Shot my best score in a 3D competition on its maiden voyage. Great overall bow! September 4, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by great bow Got this bow last month shoots great. Very smoth and accurate. The tag on the bow said that the draw weight is 71lbs and the bows set at a 29in. draw I am shooting a 420gr. arrow at 300fps. Talk about power wow, my buddies destroyer 350 only shot my arrows at 305fps. I think his bow draws right at 70lbs. His bow cost nearly $400 more think I know the better deal. If you are use to shooting older compounds you may want to have a bigger backstop untill you get use to the zero creap it got me when I first started shooting. You'll see what I mean. August 31, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Diamond Dead Eye - WoW Unbelievable quiet, fast, accurate, smooth, compact, I could go on and on. Can't say enough. My fiance bought this for me and it's the best gift I've ever gotten in my life. I put it on hold as there were none on the floor but one was in transit. They called me to come pick up the bow, I had full intentions of doing so but was cautious when Kevin in Altoona's archery shop told me that there was a recall/hold from the manufacturer on the bow. Little did I know that he had talked to my fiance and was instructed that I was not allowed to leave the store with the bow! :) Kevin you sly dog you! Thanks for helping SJ make my year!! As you put it, now we both have exchanged Diamonds!!!! Thanks a million BassPro! Best service around bar none. August 24, 2011
