Delta McKenzie Challenger Buck Deer Target Overall, Delta McKenzie has put together a well performing product for a reasonable price with the Challenger Buck Deer Target. As with other targets that are described as being "Self Healing", arrows are not that easy to pull out unless using an arrow lubricant or arrow puller device. November 17, 2013
Simple and Inexpensive This is a good deer target for the money. Will last quite awhile if you take it in out of doors. Don't shoot the legs! Hard to pull arrows from that plastic. If you shoot broadheads, get an insert too. You will blow through it pretty soon. July 24, 2013
Good for the money I've owned this target going on two years now and have put hundreds, if not thousands of arrows into it. It is very durable and I have not done anything to keep it nice; it remains outside in the weather year round. As other's have stated, there can be an issue with removing arrows however once I started to use arrow lube on the shafts of my arrows, it has became no problem at all to remove. I am just now getting to the point of considering getting a new insert. All-in-all, it is very good for the money. May 21, 2013
A Little Stiff The uniit is a good value for the price. The only drawback is, as stated in previously posted reviews. Arrow retreival,(We only used field points), is tough. The use of a good arrow lube is recommended. The self sealing properties seem to work well. We've only put about a hundred arrows into the KZ but it shows no signs of deterioration. Without arrow lube a foam rubber arrow puller was required. July 24, 2012
