I bought this a few weeks ago to replace my old 3D target(also a backyard buck). I've shot it about 50 or so times and it's seems good so far. Arrows are starting to penetrate deeper, almost up to the fletch. I had the same happen with the old target and solved the problem by putting a block of styrofoam behind the vitals. This product is what you pay for, a good target for the money.

i have had this buck target for 2 years so it is very durable. i shoot it alot and the insert "heals" itsself. the holes fill back in pretty good. the target also stops my arrows really good. i shoot the pse omen. 366 ibo. the bad things about this target are that the target insert is small and you have to make a good shot or else if you hit the body or the legs your arrows are EXTREMELY hard to pull out. other than that the target is pretty good.

i shoot a pse omen thatIBOs at 366. and it stops my arrows. so i would say your cross bow would be fine

A crossbow bolt would blow thru this target like butter. My 55 pound recurve shot an arrow with field points thru this target's vitals and about four inches of the arrow stuck out the other side of the target the first time I shot it.1 of 1
