Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Target Had this target for a few weeks now and myself and two friends have put I don't know how many arrows in it. It is starting to blow out in a spot or two but i am pleased with it. Arrows come out easily and vital section is tighter and in more true spot than some other targets I have shot. Legs have a solid lock when installed and target as a whole is very solid. November 24, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Backyard 3-D Target This 3-D target is an overall good product. It fit the bill perfectly for the purpose I purchased it for, backyard practice to stay tuned up for bow season. Also, the price as compared to other competitve models was a big plus. The only problem I have encountered so far is that the antlers tend to work themselves lose over time. Though this at all doesn't affect the shoot-ability of the target. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase of this item and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good solid target for backyard use. September 28, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by great target this target is great! well-constructed and rugged. stops arrows well and they aren't super hard to pull out. added bonus is that the entire body, with exception to the legs, are made of the same foam as the vitals, making it ideal for someone who is new to 3-d target shooting. i would buy it again in a second. Rated 3 out of 5 by It's OK for the price Removing arrows is a little difficult and if you hit the front leg, you need to unsrew the tip. I like the smaller size of the target which is more realistic than some of the magnum targets. This is my second one, the first lasted many years with only replacing the insert. September 8, 2010

If you like to shoot a lot, I would expect this target to hold up very long. If you are just interested in shooting at this target every once in while and use another target for more daily practice, it would be great. Just dont tear it up with broadheads!

i actually had a 8 point stop in the back yard and give it a hard stare down. he was still in velvet. he was on a pretty good run too. don't know if that helped but it sure stopped him and made him look.

The appearance would be fine for using as a decoy. However I'm not sure how difficult it would be to mask the odor. You would need to wash it with a scent eliminator then leave it outside for a few weeks before I tried it. Hope this helps. God Bless!

A:
I say it will, this past season I threw some doe urine out around it in my back yard and had a small buck come charging out the woods straight for it. Also, I had a buck to rip it off the stakes I had it standing on late one evening this past season.

It looks just as good as other decoy models but it is slightly smaller. If you spray it down real good sith scent away and maybe some light buck urine, it should at least get the interest of other deer but they will probably be hesitant to come in close. therefore it may work if you are using a rifle but I wouldn't use it during bow season. But hey, try it and let us all know in a review!
