I used the seed coat on a good size food plot of turnips. The wind was blowing about 30-40 mph that day. So my hopes weren't high. The other factor was I planted the plot in two sections, a week apart, one with DeltAg and one without. Too see if the wind messed with the application, the results were unbelievable. I grew turnips the size of footballs. The plants without seed coat were1/2 the size and took longer to grow. The deer numbers grew from about 8 locals to18 in two months. I will never plant without it.

The heat wiped out my food plot so I tried this and it really seemed to help with germination.

I purchased the product for my small food plot and could not believe how well it worked! I immediately noticed that it coated the seeds easily and helped to germinate the seeds in a lower ph level soil. Highy recommend that you use this product for all your planting needs!

wondering if this is fertilizer like miracle groAnswers

A:Â
Seedcoat is not a replacement for fertilizer. You still need to follow fertilizer guidelines.A:Â
As always, you should have added fertilizer way before the seed is planted. The seed coat protects the plant from germination when it touches the moisture in the soil.Answers
