I have a lawn maintance business in florida.Every morning when I start mowing it is hot and wet .these boots are water tite. I only get 6 to 8 mth's out of the previous boots I've purchased .This will be my 3rd pair of danner striker II side- zip . 1st pair I wore1 year ,tops were in great shape still but I finally started wearing one side of the heel out from the funky way I walk when using my edger on sidwalks. This last pair because of the economy
has had to last a bit longer ,but the heels have finally give out after 2 years, but beleave it or not the tops everything above the soles are still in pretty good shape except a few cracks do to lack of care on my part .I walk on concrete sidewalks 5 to 6 miles a day 210 days a year thats over 2000 miles on this last pair.That alot of walkin in DANNER STRIKER II BOOTS .
