These boots are great.
They are warm and quite comfortable.
They take a day to brake in but overall are a great boot. Would highly recommend them for anyone who wants an amazing boot.

Just as other Danner boots I've purchased in the past, this boot is well made and provides very good traction in snow and muddy conditions. This boot needed very little breaking in. I purchased the Pronghorns, wore them for approx 3 hours over two days and then gave them a severe workout in Colorado without a problem. The rubber reinforcement on the toe and heel are a plus. They are worth the price for serious outdoorsmen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MLYOUNG Danner's or Irish Setter
My wife purchased as a gift for me. She knows good boots make all the difference in hunting or going home those very cold mornings. If your feet get cold it's over period. I have owned a pair of Irish Setters and thought the Danner's would be a good change. Here I would give both the Irish Setters and Pronghorns 5 stars for warmth. Both kept feet dry. They both are great in about all things that can be expected from the best pair of boots - you'd expect for cost. There was noted differences however. One thing the fit. Irish setters feel so good on my feet, still do after four years of extreme hunting in all conditions. They feel molded to the shape of my foot while the Pronghorns were more loosely wrapped. If you can picture the boot almost flat across your foot. The left boot was very different from the right - the right boot was tight around the ankle area so I got rubbed wrong. I had to try since price would tell you they would be better - I've learned not always. Still they are a very good boot and are still a 5 star - again had I not have had Irish Setters I would have never known. The bad thing on Irish Setters but remember it's been 4 years now, the heal area is coming unglued (glue?) the Danner's are stitched, this means they could be repaired or a new sole could be added. One last thing - I realize just about everything is made outside the US, it seems companies use the made in USA to their advantage - Danner makes a point to say an American company (note: did not say"made") - may be owned by a US Company but not made here - guess what I was in "Vietnam" once and it wasn't to buy boots.

Could not be happier with these boots! They required little to no time to break in, fit great, and are warm on those cold winter hunting days. If you hunt in cold weather, buy these boots!
