Danner Jackal II GTX GORE-TEX Snake Boots for Men
Nicest snake boot I've ever purchased
Used these on a public land Archery hunt in very wet bottom land, so far no leaks and they fit like a good pair of running shoes , very comfortable ! I read other reviews and ordered them a half size larger. Mine are a little big , but no slip ,or uncomfortable break N needed. Plus I can wear a thick pair of wool socks in cool weather to get more season use out of them!

Best Snake Boot Made
I purchased these boots for a new hunting lease in Virginia. I own two pairs of Danner hunting boots and really like them so I purchased the Danner Jackal to fit the need. As with my other Danner boots these were true to size. I wore these for the first time for an all day trip to install tree stands on our new lease. They were very stiff out of the box but after 10 hours of wearing the first time they began to break in very nicely. The second day they had loosened up and were very comfortable. I expect to get many years of wear out of these boots just as I have from my other Danner boots. Great boots for anyone looking for an affordable long lasting snake boot.

I hunt pretty hard in hot, humid SE Ga. Deer Turkey and Hog pretty much year round so my boots get tortured. Mine made it 2.5 years before they started leaking. They are by far the most comfortable boots ever. The reviews are correct they are verystiff at first and do require a bit of wear before they are broken in but when thay do it is worth it. wish they would last a little longer they are pricey.

not so comfortable
bought these boots about four weeks ago, been hunting about 12 times. thought i might be breaking them in by now.walked about ten miles by now.Took them off yesterday and stored them, they were killing my ankles. wish i could send them back, they wear worst than a pair of Rocky i bought one time i thought the Rockys was bad . wearing my old Pennington snake boots, they were the best snake boots i have ever wore, just wore them out.
