Rated 5 out of 5Â by EGar1861 Great boots!
Great boots! They do run a bit smaller so you will need to need to get a size longer and wider than you normally wear. They feel more like a tennis shoe instead of a boot.

Many critical reviews here, lots of highly favorable reviews elsewhere. Bought them anyways, and they are going right back. I usually wear a 10.5M but bought an 11M just in case they ran small. Aaaand they just barely fit on my right foot, and not at all on my left, run VERY small. Lots of pinching and binding in the ankles, and extremely stiff, almost like mountaineering boots, only way more painful. Not what I expected.

bought these boots about four weeks ago, been hunting about 12 times. thought i might be breaking them in by now.walked about ten miles by now.Took them off yesterday and stored them, they were killing my ankles. wish i could send them back, they wear worst than a pair of Rocky i bought one time i thought the Rockys was bad . wearing my old Pennington snake boots, they were the best snake boots i have ever wore, just wore them out.

Very Stiff and uncomfortable. I read some of the comments and I was expecting the boots to break inn after a day or two. But after four full days in the field they are still stiff and not very comfortable. They definitely are not for the active hunter who likes to move around. Plus they are not the slightest bit quiet. Can do better for this kind of investment.

No but you'd be better off with Chaps and a comfortable boot instead.A:Â
No sir, I am 6'5" tall and these boots extend up to the bend in my leg. I cannot see wearing chaps with the boots.Answers

I just purchased the snake boots but I have worn Danner boots for the last 15 years and have never had a leak.A:Â
The Jackal II hasn't been out long enough to give a good answer, My original Jackal snake boots are over 5 years old and look really worn in, but they still keep my feet dry.A:Â
still waterproof after 6+ years. I do condition leather when it looks dry.A:Â
Not very long, they leak and I have tried to waterproof them. I just wade across small creeks occasionally, its not like i'm wade fishing in them.A:Â
Danner products are built tough, and you can help prolong the life of your boots by keeping the boot clean, waterproofed, and conditioned. If you add a Waterproofing Spray this will help maintain the original texture of those products and last longer.Answers
