Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boots! I wear them every day on the construction jobsite. Took a couple of days to break in the upper part of the boots. Tried not to tie them too tight. Boots are very comfortable and light. Haven't had to test them in a wet environment yet but I'm confident that the Gore-Tex liner will be up to task. August 24, 2012

It does not have the safety toe. Any Danner boot with a safety toe will meet the ASTM standard, example item number 38-746-795-57 Corvallis™ GTX® 5'' Waterproof Non-Metallic Toe Work Boot.
