Rated 5 out of 5Â by JohnnyRacing Great Support Pole!
I received this pole last month. I quickly installed it at an area of the boat that the cover has been collecting water during rains. Soon after I installed the pole, my area of town had a storm blow through and 76 mph winds were recorded. Alot of damage in the area but the pole held tough and was upright after the strom blew through the area. If your cover is installed and fastened correctly and this support pole is properly sized (its adjustable), it can withstand hurricane force winds as I can attest to!
Great pole, and the money's right too!

If you want a support that actually supports your cover there is another model available. It is difficult to locate but the item number is 38-532-570-00. Lists at $14.99 and is worth the extra $3.00.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Rehabstiff Worth Every Penny
I had 3" of rain the week after purchasing this product. The boat cover support pole worked perfectly to keep water from pooling on the cover of my 16' Bass Tracker. It is worth every penny. Easy to assemble and set up. Others have complained that the parts are fragile and break easily. I can see how this might happen if maximum strength is used to attach the pieces, but the support works just fine with the parts only lightly asssembled.

This product was supposed to be a gift for my BF and as soon as I saw him pull it out of the box and assemble it, I was rather embarrassed. The product was cheap plastic pieces that had to be assembled together to your desired height within 6" ranges.

i would not use them when traveling. They tip easily.A:Â
they tip when they are standing still No they would not hold up to travelA:Â
They don't work well when parked in my drive way. Any wind that comes causes the stand to fall over under the cover. ALL of the posts that came with the stand were ALL warped, some worst than others. This stand isn't worth anything if it can't even stay standingA:Â
no, they don't make it thru 5 mph winds. Poorly made, tubes split right away. Plastic tubes way to thin.Answers
