I just got my decoys yesterday and they look great. The most realistic paint scheme on Mallard decoys I've ever seen. Love the flocked heads and the different head styles. Can't wait to hunt over them this fall.

These decoys look amazing, but one of the heads broke off first trip out. I have contacted Dakota and they said they will send me a new head. Hopefully they hold up..

Okay i bought these after purchasing a pack of hardcores which in one trip out began sinking. so i did some research and everyone pointed to the dakotas for overall durability. They are by far the most durable realistic looking decoys on the market! the second best are the avians but something about the flimsy soft bodies through me off, i know its better for taking stray BBs but they just have a cheap feeling. The dakotas are super life like with lots of detail and depth all over. one thing I'm not sure about though is the flocked heads seem like they are going to deteriorate quickly and all i have to say about that is they are easily replacable on the dakota web site for not to much. On top of everything they have unsurpassed detail there durable a little heafty but well worth the money!

I did about 2 months worth of solid research to find new decoys that I felt would hold up season after season of grueling cold weather and decoy abuse. The guys I hunt with and I aren't fortunate enough to have our own field or large pond to hunt so were mainly on public land each season which means a lot of decoy abuse packing these in and out almost every day. These decoys have held paint extremely well and better than I had originally anticipated! Another aspect of these decoys is the high attention to detail Dakota took in order to produce such a realistic decoy. The different head styles and the option of flocked or iridescent heads for the drakes are just icing on the cake. I feel the price is reasonable for the quality you get with these decoys! These decoys just simply bring ducks in. I put out 2 dozen of these and I had ducks lighting without hesitation even on pressured hunting areas. I thew a couple mojo's out in the mix and the hunting has new phenomenal!
