The ultimate featherweight bass rods function intuitively in your hands--because they've been strategically stripped down, leaving only the premier essentials for the task at hand. Wonderfully light, beyond hyper-sensitive, incredibly strong, they come in five distinct rod ''families,'' each crafted on its own unique super-high-modulus graphite blank to address a specific bass fishing need. All styles feature the very finest componentry available: cut-proof, corrosion-free Fuji titanium-frame SiC guides, exclusive Air-Beam reel seats, machined-aluminum fore-nut, and AirFoam split grips that are significantly lighter than cork or EVA, yet provide a firm, non-slip grip.

SVF Compile-X rods are incredibly lightweight and uber-sensitive. These flipping, pitching, and ''rig'' rods utilize thin-walled SVF Compile-X Graphite with full-length Bias Graphite reinforcement. Manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty.

Rated 3 out of 5 by come on really? If anyone ever bought this rod and it wasn't given to them through a sponsorship deal, you are nuts. If you didn't just recently win the mega millions jackpot, buy something more reasonably priced! I dont care how light weight or sensitive this rod is, for $720.00, it better be garunteed to catch 5+ pounders every other cast or your money back. you can buy 3 top of the line rods for this price. This is almost as bad as a new nitro z9 compared to a skeeter fx series, some how there is a $20,000 difference and that fx doesn't come with all of the bells and whistles, you still have to add those on. I have never seen something so absurdly priced in my life, this rod is rediculous. January 6, 2012
