Took the grand kids out this past weekend , on an overnight trip out of Cisco Landing was set up a little heavy for one of the boys 6 brand new Diawa's going into action fishing 95' to 200' bottom fishing the youngest grandson brought in his first Ling Cod with ease the older two told me they liked speed of the reels Me i just enjoyed taking them along. 9 throw back Ling cods , and a nice Cabazon. The ease of throwing a Jig out underhand 50' away from the boat was incredable Ready to go again have (4) BG 40's And (2) BG 50's they performed great

I purchased the 30h model after researching numerous reels. I paired it up with a 9ft Tica rod. A friend of mine owns 3 of these reels in the 20h model and referred me to this reel. I normally fish with spinning reels and this was my first purchase of a casting reel for surf fishing @ the Outer Banks. I was totally amazed with the ease of casting long distances with this reel without any backlashes using 3-6 ounce weights. Not to mention the smoothness and power of retreiving the heavy sinkers in strong currents. This is by far one of the best reels out there. You should go purchase one today.I am going to purchase the 20h model also.
