Daiwa Certate HA Spinning Reels borrow from NASA fuel technology. Magnetic oil, controlled by a magnetic field, forms a seal to prevent water intrusion between the reel’s rotor and body, which in turn prevents its intrusion into the rotor bearing and gearbox. This produces a better seal with less winding friction than other sealing methods. The Certate Reel’s unique Air Rotor features corrosion-proof Zaion carbon construction which helps reduce weight while increasing strength. In fact, it weighs up to 15% less than other rotor designs. The Daiwa Certate - HA Spinning Reel has a light, smooth feel you’ll notice immediately. A hollow Air Bail is strong yet light in weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best reel on the planet It's been over 36 years that i fish and i try all kinds of reels including Shimano,Quantum,Pflueger,Abu Garcia and i can tell you that the new Daiwa certate HA is the best purchase i made for a long time.This reel is awesome.Whit is aluminum body is very strong,very smooth and well balanced.The drag is perfect.All these qualities make it the best reel on the market.It's a bit expensive but worth the money.If you try this reel you will go buy one that is guaranteed.Finally,i bought the model 2500,for fishing walleye and bass,i am extremely satisfied.I recommend it to all serious fishermen who want to have a reel for a long time.
