Rated 1 out of 5 by Nope!!! This thing vibrates something horrible on the cast. It feels slapped together. No bueno! Oh and for the life of me I can't get this thing set up right, so maybe it's just frustration talking. But I don't like it. May 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE THIS REEL I bought this reel for myself on Christmas Day as a gift for myself. I have two other Daiwa Reels and have never had any issues with them so I figured why not give this one a try. I also bought the Arid Rod to match with the reel. Put line on the reel took it out in the backyard last Sunday dialed it in and made about 40-50 practice cast not one single backlash the retrieve is good and it cast a country mile going to get out on the water in the next few weeks and if it performs as well on the water as it did in my yard I will be a very happy camper and it will be another great product for Daiwa. Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst purchase ever When casting it has a bad vibration. feels like a back vibrator. March 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not What I was looking for... This is a great, quality product from Diawa. Unfortunatly, It wasnt what I was looking for. There is only a spool tension knob, and a dial that I would guess controls the magnetic break. There are no centrifugal breaks to adjust. It works for people who like the power of a baitcast reel, without the complexity. Sadly, I like complexity. And for some reason I could not get it to cast properly. Guess I'm just used to old fashion. February 23, 2013
