save your hard earned money
Absolutely dissatisfied. Scope was blurred, rear sight was loose and adjustment screw was stripped. Body of receiver was plastic.. I owned one of these rifles in the 80s and was much better quality... save your money and buy a RWS or a Gamo. Daisey has really gone down hill on quality.

My Experience Is That With b.b.s I Could Not Get A
Pattern Any Closer Than About 6 Inches
With Pellets I Got A 2 Inch Pattern But Pellets Are Very
Hard And Time Consuming To Load
The Scope Has Very Little Focus A justment

Great gun but scope is way to small and hard to use.Iron sites are great.

Solid Entry Airgun
Picked this set up a couple weeks ago. Spent about an hour today sighting it in using a simple pellet trap.
Gun shot a 1" group at 30' right out of the package, only took a little while to sight in both the iron sigts and the scope to shoot pellets. Same grouping on target, on spot standing . About 1 in 20 were "flyers", inexplicably landing 2 or 3" off sight, but for the most part pretty good.
Scope is pretty cheap, but serviceable for plinking, and backyard fun. Accurate enough to take a squirrel at 25-30'.
Later repeated shots on a 3" play ball in the backyard at 70'. Probably not much power left at that distance on 7 pumps but not bad accuracy.
We'll have to see about reliability but so far very good purchase.
Only downside, the set doesn't come with 1500 BB's and 250 pellets as advertised . The kit I got only had 500 BB's and 250 pellets. A small thing but worth noting.

I have not found a stock scope that can maintain a zero. The 2-way shock of a pellet /bb gun just does something to non-ruggedized scopes. I found Walthers to be reliable and I hear Leapers are good too.
