great cheap hunting gun
I bought the gun for two reasons, one to practice gun handling and shooting, and two to get started squirrel hunting as a .22 rimfire would be to loud around neiborhood. It was shooting a little crooked out of the box with iron sights as I didn't take any time to sight it in. I eventually sighted in the 4X15 scope that it came with. A lot of people said that the scope was useless. Actually, It's extremely accurate once you've taken the time and patience to work it everything out. The only thing I don't like is, the pumping and the loudness of it when doing so. Extremely accurate though.

Great dependable air gun.
I have owned this air gun for over 15 yrs and have fired it hundreds of thousands of times and it can still hit the tip of a match at 15 yrds.

I bought the gun for my son as a start to shooting. He has enjoyed it. We spent some quality time together siting it in and explaining the safety features.

I have not found a stock scope that can maintain a zero. The 2-way shock of a pellet /bb gun just does something to non-ruggedized scopes. I found Walthers to be reliable and I hear Leapers are good too.
