Daisy PowerLine 880 Shadow Plus Shooter's Kit
This is a good rifle for the price. Has lots of power shooting pellets. This gun is pointless for shooting bb's, you cant hit a milk jug from 20 yards. I doubt it shoots 750 fps, but it does have plenty of power for starlings and crows as well as chipmunks. Best pellets in this gun are RWS Hypermax as they shoot around 950 fps out of this gun and 15 yard groups are about nickel sized. This gun is very light and flimsy feeling, but it shoots well for a good price. Throw the scope away, it is total junk. The iron sights are great on this gun.

Daisy 880 BB/Pellet Rifle
Iv'e owned one of these air rifles for over 20 years and you can't beat it for the price. It's deadly accurate. I can make a 1/2 inch group of six shots at 25 yards with either pellets or BB's while standing, kneeling, prone supported and prone unsupported positions.
The best feature of this air rifle is that you don't have to fire it at full power each time. You can control the muzzle velocity that best suites the conditions with which you find yourself.
Believe me its great vermin and small game medicine.

Having purchased seven .177 caliber guns including 6 from Bass Pro Shops, on the same day, to start to enjoy the hobby with my daughters, I own and have recently used other products useful for comparison.
This one was the sole disappointment of all my purchases. I have had a BB jam under the safety requiring a partial disassemby to rectify and the accuracy is questionable compared to other products including the much less expensive Red Ryder and Model 25 although they do not match the velocity of the 5880. The plastic used saves weight for sure, but decreases overall quality as well in my opinion. This may be a good product for a beginner because of the kit, depending upon the cost target, quality and accuracy desired. I would not recommend this product for an experienced shooter.
