My girls were excited when I opened up the box, It shot straight out of the box, Perfect to start teaching your little girl or girls to become great marksmen" markswomen" light weight and it holds alot of BB's I am not to fond of an all plastic bb gun and it's put together alittle cheap but for the price I believe you get what you pay for, Yes it's cheap and yes it shoots straight, incase it breaks your not out alot of money just to target shoot...

I have a 4 year old who is anxiously awaiting being able to go to the range with her granfater and doing the same things he does... She is wanting one for her birthday and I don't see ages on any of these.
I would say personally 4 yrs is kind of young for a BB gun due to maturity level, remember a BB gun can still severly injure a child or even an adult I would suggest a suction cup dart gun to practice with, as a former police officer I have taught my girls to respect a gun. the barrel always points at what your going to kill, whether a target or other. My girls are 6 and 11. I started with the basics of knowing the gun first before they were allowed to have one. Good luck
most bb guns say for ages 10 an older,my grander is 8, my grandson is 6 ,they both have bb guns, but they both have adult supervision at all times..
