VERY BAD PELLET..STAY AWAY First, the price at Bass pro Shop is twice the price of other major retailers . Really Bass Pro I thought you will be more competitive. Back to the pellet. Poorly made, dirty, and extremely inaccurate. Did I mention overpriced and expensive at Bass Pro Shops. The only good way of using them is to break in your new rife or better melt them and make your custom fishing weights. October 13, 2014
Great Plinking/Hunting Pellet. This pellet(Daisy Brand) has undergone quite a few changes within the last few years, Let me just say that these aren't your Daddy's Daisy's. Gone is the over graphiteized, overly soft pellet. These pellet's are now being produced in China by the same manufacturer that puts out the "Peak" brand, as well as the pellet's that the Chinese Olympic shooting team uses, and as far as I know, They've gotten quite a few Gold Medal's in Target shooting using pellet's made in the same facility. The pellet's composition has changed quite a bit, w/ quite a bit more anti-mony being used, so they are not as soft as previous version's, also the skirt is sloped to the head much like a Crosman Premier Dome, and They shine now,,,No more dirty fingers after shooting for 5 minutes, and as far as accuracy goes, I would put these up against anything Crosman has to offer(and I did, w/ outstanding results). Now there are still a ton of the old pellet design still being sold(as new old stock), But usually if you purchase the tin's that have the new labeling, then you'll most likely getting the new design, but if the slope from the skirt to the head is still a sharp edge then you still have the old design. All in All, I highly recommend giving these pellet's a second, or third try. I'm sure that you'll be very pleasantly surprised. I'm getting tight shot grouping's with all of my .22 a/g's, Springer's, and Co2 alike, and with the weight staying the same, They're perfect for most sub-FAC gun's, and are a joy to shoot with my Crosman 1322 pistol, 2240 Co2 Pistol, and 2289 carbine. I can stack these round's @ 10M all-day long, In fact I find them to so accurate in my Webley Alecto .22, that it's almost becoming a bore, especially if you know where exactly every round you shoot is going to be in the black. Anyway's, There's my first hand report on the In-Famous Daisy Field Point,,,Give them a shot:), As I said,,,,These aren't your Pop's Daisy's,,,,Their 10X better. Cheer's, and Happy Huntin', Andy. worst pellets ever these pellets are horrible, almost every single one i got was deformed, and i dont mean slightly, i mean some were almost flat, and as you could have guessed they grouped horibly too. February 14, 2012
