Daiichi® Saltwater Circle Chunk™ Light In-Line Hooks - Model D81Z 5 5 3 3
to offset or not This is the hook I use for catch and release. The gap is quite wider than the competition which provides to my understanding a better balance. The red covering tends to fade off after several catches,no big deal since they are somewhat resistant to rust.I got this hooks because they had the "Stop-Gap" feature that prevents double hooking the live bait,a shame that it's NOT OFFSET which I would have prefer. They are quite strong and medium thick. Have found no advantage with the red color. June 9, 2011
Can't go wrong! These hooks are great! They are light, so you can't put alot of pressure, of course, with a big fish, you don't put alot of pressure any way, we all know how that works out. But I have never had a fish to swallow this hook, and they are sharp as a needle, highly recommend to anyone, for any kind of fish, especially cats, they're just good to the last drop! Good stank, and good luck! December 2, 2010
Good light wire hooks. Daiichi got these right. There light wire, inline, and sticky sharp. Perfect for the angler that uses lighter tackle like myself. Best of all they meet the requirements of the Gulf Charters Fishery Amendment 27/14 requiring the use of circle hooks for reef species in state and federal waters. I need to order some more! A:
Yes, I'm sure it will be fine.

My wife and I use the D84Z 1/0. We used them to catch the 84 freshwater catfish and 30 carp, totally 114 fish (see the photo). We caught them during the day within eight and a half hours. These are the only hooks we use.
