I like these hooks because of the shape as fish usualy get hooked in the corner of the mouth resulting in a quick release. The red colour as it seems to get more fish than the non coloured ones.

These hooks are the best Catfish hooks on the market. extremely hard to get sometimes. this order was on back order for a while. My personal best was 67 pound blue and caught with daiichi bleeding bait circle chunk light!!

My wife and I used 4 rod & reels with these circle hooks (1/0 size) on 12 lbs test line to catch these 84 freshwater catfish and 30 carp, 114 fish in all (see the photo to the right). We caught them within eight and a half hours during the day of 08-17-11. These hooks are the only ones we use. Needless to say, we recommend them.

I have used several different hooks in my life, but I've never used anything like these. My wife and I fish for catfish in a freshwater river near our home. These hooks are very strong. If you are not used to fishing with circle hooks, it does take a little time to learn to use them. But after you get used to them, you will not go back to a "J" hook. These circle hooks in the 1/0 size will catch large and small catfish. They will also catch Carp like nobody's business. My wife and I used small shad one afternoon and filled the cooler and livewell with almost nothing but Carp. These are the only hooks we use now. My wife and I both recommend them.
