They make a difference with artificial lures As part of my work I take people fishing. Mainly inshore since off shore is a little expensive sometimes. It is cheaper to charter a small boat and go spinning or trolling inshore. I went fishing with a dude from New Jersey and in his tackle box I saw this RED treble hooks and ask about them! In my baits I have steel hooks and never though about how the fish sees it. He told me that the fish sees RED and thinks about an injured fish. It made sense and I ask him to lend me a pair and I took my steel ones and replace them with this red hooks. They look great and gives the lure a different look indeed. And strikes were more and faster. I learned something new and I got some he gave me as a present. A great day of fishing indeed. Now they are part of my bait box! They resist rust. September 27, 2014
