Great Budget AR15 I really love this gun. The first time I shot it, I put 120 rounds through it. I never wanted to stop shooting it but my ammo supply quickly ran out. I was amazed by the performance of it and would never have thought it was a budget rifle had I not been the one to buy it. The trigger pull is nice and smooth, it shoots round after round with no hiccups at all, and it has great recoil reduction (not that 5.56 has much recoil but you get the point). I am going to put a different muzzle brake on it, but that is just personal preference. The stock A2 style brake does a fantastic job at reducing rise. The barrel is one solid diameter past the front sight which makes it somewhat front heavy, but that also goes a long way to reducing muzzle rise. The only thing that I would recommend doing is thoroughly cleaning it before the first time you shoot it. The factory oil was a little gunked up in the action, but that being said, I'd rather have too much oil than not enough. Especially during the shipping process. All in all, a fantastic budget AR15. Awesome beyond words Apart from the title suggesting that the review cannot be put into words I would like to detail the overall quality and performance of this piece. First off, this rifle is super lite...read the specs in comparison to other rifles. The difference really is how well put together this rifle seems. Other rifles feel bulky and shifty, this rifle is tight with little to no wasted areas. The accuracy of this rifle is spot on. You will have to purchase basically all your own optics, but wouldn't you do that anyway??? I've been able to install everything I've wanted without paying for items I don't need or can't use. The price of this rifle is unbelievable. Most people I know paid at least double for their gun and the quality is just not there especially for the price. I would've easily paid five hundred more dollars without question. So far I've fired over two thousand rounds without a single thought of a jam or misfire. I would absolutely recommend this rifle. Good AR-15 I can only say good things about this rifle! I have put around 500 rounds through it since I got it and have had no problems what so ever! October 26, 2014

It has a 6 grove barrel and it is a 1 in 9 right hand twist. I personally prefer a 1 in 8 but the difference often times is how you pronounce tomato: to_mah_to or to_muh_to. Either way you are looking at a fine rifle. Good luck and I hope this helps.

A:
It shoots both 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem. In my opinion, it runs 5.56 better than .223.
