D.T. Systems Super Pro Launcher Kit
Works great but!!!
I purchased my launcher and right away i want to figure out how this thing worked. Not that it is real hard to figure out but I dry fired it. Then I read the instructions. It says don't dry fire. Too late firing pin is now broke. Wow! So i rigged it to work, and while i was congratulating the dog and amongst the excitement rewarding the dog for an awesome retrieve I forgot to place a round back in the chamber and again dry fired it. I found that a dry fire is not hard to do so braking the fire pin is even easier. However the sweet lady at DT Systems hooked me up with a new pin free of charger this time only.

D.T. Trainer kit
This is one of the best all around tool/traing aids for training a puppy or for getting a dog ready for fall. Excellent for teaching marking skills and when used with a partner, for teaching a dog to fetch only on command. Also excellent for working blind retrieves/ hand signals in water. Definitely a must for serious dog trainers, and the dogs love it more than I do.

A little misleading
I have been happy with the launcher overall. The only complaints I have are that the proper ammo was not described before I purchased it and the launcher has to be cleaned very often.
I purchased the green and red boxes of ammo but once I received it the instructions stated that only green and yellow ammo should be used. Now I have to send the red box back, what a pain.
As far as cleaning goes it is fairly simple but it would have been nice to receive the proper size brushes and better instructions for cleaning.
One other thing. Why would the launcher come with only one dummy? At least supply 2 so you are able to practice second marks once the dog has been sent on the first retrieve.
Like I said before, overall I am happy and my silver lab Remi loves it. She has improved so much with just a few training sessions. Thanks, Jon P.

This launcher works great and I have had no problems with it.
I am not a dog trainer but am working with my lab to attempt to train her and it appears to be working well.
