Great item, a must for training, very good quality. I have several of the less expensive lauchers from another company, the quality in these lauchers surpass in all areas.

Both...and then some. You can add scent to either the canvas bumpers or you can obtain actual faux bird dummy's (pheasant, Quail, duck, etc) that will launch from it. One word of caution: DO NOT USE THE RED LOADS, they are too powerful for it. The green loads fire it about 150 feet, the yellow about 250. The reds blow it up.
