I bought these lures for flipping off the back of the boat in salt water...........but...........
I put one on a fresh water spinning rod and reel and my wife caught an 18" bass in 5 min or less in a lake near where she works.
Go figure.......? Sorry she didn't take a pic before she released.

I've had fairly good luck with these in SW Florida inshore - root beer seemed to be the best on one trip and lime green on another. I always wonder if I should change lures while the fish are hitting to see if they really don't care when they're hungry. It would be good to have two stubborn fishermen together, each using his favorite lure.

This lure is great for bouncing off the bottom. It catches a lot of trout and redfish. You can also cast it pretty far.
