D.O.A Deadly Combination
I travel around several places and fish. This lure is the only one that I make sure I have and have several of them. Have lost several to spanish mackerels when they are in the area. For some reason fish can't leave them alone. I will use other lures just so we don't catch our bag limits to quickly and can spend more time on the water doing what I love.

Purchased one of these D.O.A. Deadly Combos on a whim and decided to give it a try in Mississippi's Biloxi Back Bay. Caught 2 keeper size Speckled Trout within minutes after beginning to fish (one was 17” and the other 15”). This rig ties on easy and is durable. The length of the mono between the shrimp and the popping cork was just right. I fished all day with it and it still looks brand new even after catching trout with it! This combo is strong enough for big trout and even redfish and the mono leader is invisible in the water.
This rig attracts by sight and sound. In order to add the third element of scent, I purchased some Berkley Gulp Alive shrimp scent in the spray bottle and occasionally sprayed the D.O.A.'s shrimp before casting. This combination of using the D.O.A. Deadly Combo with the Berkley Gulp Alive shrimp spray easily produced results for me. I fully intend to use this set up again for future trips.
Highly recommend this product if you are after white or speckled sea trout. It should also work for other species too like redfish but I haven't tried using it yet for these species.

Not very good.
I went to a the long pier in redington fl. and a couple people next to me were catching some nice sized trout so i decided to tie this on to see if i could do any good. I tried it for a good while and didn't even get a bite. I dont know if i just wasnt at the right place at the right time or what, but it simply didn't work for me, and for 5 bucks i found this as a waste of money. I hope other people have better luck with this than i did.

This is supposed to be the hot Redfish bait on the Gulf coast. Fished one all week and never got a bite.
The quality of the shrimp is very good and is very life like. The cork held it's color and didn't fade in the sun and saltwater.
The Gulp shrimp caught me some fish, but the DOA rig was a bust.
