The best part is when you are done using it and forget it is still on your hat, it doesn't get in the way of that 1st light passing duck shot.
Bad side...it is cheaper to buy another than to replace the batteries.

when i first got the light i was a little dissapointed in the fact that it was so small,until i turned it on. WOW the amount of light it puts out is incredible !! we had a major winter storm right after i got it and lost power a few times. this little light was bright and clear enough i was able to read in a pitch black house with no problem.
in fact i was so impressed i ordered 2 more so i would have 1 to keep in truck and at work

Looked at several of these and can't go wrong for the money. It is brighter than we expected, nice and secure on the cap. It is quite small but that makes it nice to keep clipped on the cap even when not in use. My son loves his, he has a headlamp but this is nice and easy, he likes the fact that it can stay clipped on whereas the headlamp he takes on and off as needed. Not expensive either if lost or hat blows overboard.

It has a built in green and red lens the are out of the way all the time and when u want to go red or green u can just flip down the colored lens
